| | | Ride with us! Find Saab 9-5 and more here! | myLot Discussions on Saab 9-5| A Blue Saab | | I am a sentimental old fool I know. But it is with a tear in my eye that I learn today that the Swedish Car maker Saab is to be wound up by its parent Company, the Detroit giant, GM. I have never owned one, but did for a while covet the sleek Swedish siren, and now never shall. But most of all I am concerned for our friend Fjaril - whatever will he do now that his blue Saab maybe the last of its kind? | |
| | | | Anyone have any opinions on Saab? Own or owned one? | | I've been thinking about buying a Saab. I've had a BMW, a few Mercedes and a Volkswagen and, more or less, liked all of them. But I'm really drawn to the look of the Saab 9-3 and thinking of buying a used one as a second car. Does anyone have any experience with them? The pros and cons, etc. | |
| | Saab engine tuning kits | | I would like to know about these kits and in particular the 185 bhp.
I have a 2002 Saab 9.3 with 150 bhp.
Can I get the maximum speed and acceleration of a 185 motor if I install the kit?
Are there any drawbacks? | |

| | Finally over.. The Great Swedish Agony! | | SAAB finally has a new chance in Sweden. It has been a terrible agonizing time for many Swedes, these tactless talks and negotiations that dragged out between interested purchasers, (then rejected) and GM.I tried to not feel the pain when they published.. "NO the hope is gone"THEN "Yes, a wee hope remains" and this went back and forth,, agonizing..O,, how hard to see the faces of masses of people with agony and sorrow written on their faces as they stood amassed together in Trollhatten,, the home of SAAB industry and its 3,500 employess, not to mention all the partners in creativity and supplies. It was impossible to look into the faces of those people without bringing tears and anger and disgust! and NOT just to me.It would have been a ghost town.. imagine a 2O10 ghost town?? Sweden is already in trouble with the economic changes! And yet,, they were third highest in the world behind Canada and the USA with money amounts sent to immdeiately aid Haiti..amazing isn't it? | |
